Ryan's first season of Tee-Ball is upon us and his first game was tonight. He currently plays right field (along with about 3 other people) and batted 14th in the lineup. That's how Tee-Ball works, everyone bats and plays. He plays for the A's, and during the games he enjoys picking flowers, spitting on himself, dancing around, watching trains, picking more flowers, and there was something else. . .oh yeah, playing baseball once in a while. He can hit the ball, at least. Here he is in his uniform. When his coach asked what number he wanted to be, he said, "157." I told him any combination of those 3 numbers. 157 is his school number (for when we pick him up), so I guess it's his favorite number right now. Ryan's team is pretty good. They won 15-3 tonight in 3 innings (the most you can score in any inning is 5).
Of course, his name was spelled wrong. Oh well.
Here's a video of Ryan Batting. This was from a week ago in a scrimmage game they played. Ryan can hit the ball and run from base to base just fine. The first base coach in the blue jacket is our Bishop. His son is on the team, also.
