Ryan's Team is 10-1

Ryan's team (the A's) just beat the Cubs this morning 10-9. The Cubs are one of the best teams in the league, but the A's scored the winning run in the bottom of the third inning while Ryan was on deck (he was next to bat). Here's a picture of Ryan getting ready to bat.

Ryan hit the ball to the third baseman and got a single. He runs "super fast" to first base every time. I told him today if he was running to first base and the first baseman got in his way, to just knock him over. Thankfully he didn't have to, because the first baseman was a lot bigger than Ryan.

Here he is on second base. He's doing better at listening to the coaches and not playing in the dirt or looking at trains.

Ryan's coach - Dave Haltermann - let the kids dump Gatorade (water) on his head after the game. It was very organized (not like in pro or college football).

Hey - How come Bishop Hill didn't get any gatorade on his head?

Zeke, you shouldn't teach Ryan to be the next Ty Cobb.
