So tonight for Family Home Evening, we discussed gratitude and I told the story of the Pilgrim's first Thanksgiving in 1621. Then we decorated brown bags and made the kids "Native Americans." And then we told them the game was to run around the house while mom and dad chased them. They LOVED this game. And let me tell you, our children are savages, even if the Native Americans were not.

Great action shot of Ryan...

So for Halloween, we went trick-or-treating in our friends the DuBravacs neighborhood. Their neighborhood had PRIME trick-or-treating action. Our kids LOVED it. Below are the girls and Phoenix, who is Kate's age.

Ryan as the volcano, and you can see Lutece who is a grey wolf. The Carlton's and Edward's also joined us in some of the evening's festivities and we had a great time!

Here is what my pumpkin looked like.

And here is what the kid's pumpkin's looked like - thank you mom, for giving us a fun activity that the kids could actually do!
